Event Details

This workshop has been geared towards users with little or no experience using the ArcGIS Software.  The workshop will focus on topics such as: data sources, data types (compatible with ArcGIS software), and structure of data (.mxd and data locations for ease of use).  We will also touch on the general layout and use of ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and displaying data in ArcMap (changing symbology,  symbolizing features by categorical attributes, using styles and creating layer files, and symbolizing rasters).

Workshop will meet from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm in Room 108 of the Business building.

 

 

This workshop will be held on the Southwest Campus of Jefferson Community and Technical College.  The college is located at 1000 Community College Drive, Louisville, KY 40272.
